The Design Process
1. Initial Consultation
Complete our Design Questionnaire online and we will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your design ideas and brainstorm possibilities. This Initial Consultation is FREE and typically consists of one or two conversations of possible ideas.
2. Contract our Services
After your Initial Consultation, purchase our Custom Design Service Fee here. This charge contracts our services and is non-refundable. Individual items will be purchased after the Second Consultation at a "per each" cost.
3. Second Consultation
Upon receipt of payment we will contact you to start the Design Process. We prefer to do this in person if you are in the Orange County or Los Angeles area. Otherwise, we can set up a video conference call so we can meet "in person" and go over ideas together. We bring color swatches, our portfolio plus plenty of ideas to the table.
4. Rough Draft
Within 1 week of the Second Consultation we will provide the Rough Draft. This typically includes scanned paper color options, fonts, and graphics. We provide a PDF version of your invitation suite for your review and input. While we strive to have as many design elements clarified during the first two consultations, this stage may consist of numerous phone calls and emails over the span of a few days or weeks in order to bring your design to life.
5. Deposit
After finalizing the Rough Draft, we will require a 50% deposit to put your invitation suite into production. We will send a separate link through our website so you can purchase via PayPal.
6. Rough Sample
Within 2-3 weeks of finalizing the Rough Draft, we will provide a Rough Sample. This is an actual hard-copy proof of your invitation suite printed in flat ink. (A thermographically printed sample can be provided at an additional cost). Minor adjustments and revisions can still be made at this time, however this stage is intended to request final approval from our clients prior to full production.
7. Final Production
Upon final approval of the Rough Sample, we go into production! You will receive your final product within 2-3 weeks of final approval.
How Long Will it Take?
Please allow for 6-8 weeks from receipt of the Custom Design Service Fee to receive your final product. This process allows for complete creativity and it may take time to create the design you envision!
In a hurry? A seperate "rush fee" may apply for a 4-6 week lead time.
